Plants' War is a classic defense game that allows you to fend off zombie invaders from your home using a wide variety of plants. The game offers an Adventure mode, as well as nine different mini-games.

In Adventure mode, you progress from daytime levels to more challenging nighttime levels. At the start of each level, you have the opportunity to select the plants you want to use. As you advance, the number of available plants and slots increases. With thirty different plants to choose from and up to ten slots, you have plenty of options to strategize against the zombies.

The game features a five-lane platform where zombies can only stay on one lane and make their way towards your house. To stop them, you must strategically place different plants with unique powers around your house.

Planting a plant or fungi requires "sun," which can be earned while playing daytime levels or by planting specific plants. If a zombie reaches the end of a lane, a lawnmower will activate and eliminate all remaining zombies in that lane. However, if a zombie reaches the lane again, the game will end.

The mini-games add an extra level of challenge and variety to the gameplay. Each mini-game consists of eight levels and provides a different objective:

1. Light Up Stars: Fill specific spaces with Starfruit in marked areas by strategically placing plants.
2. Slot Machine: Let a slot machine position your plants as an endless wave of zombies attack. Collect enough sun to reach the level's goal.
3. Little Zombie: Face mini-zombies in large numbers. Defeat them using different plants set in each level.
4. Last Stand: Survive multiple rounds with limited plant choices and resources, accumulating sun after each round.
5. Zombie Quick: Experience double-speed gameplay for both plants and zombies, requiring quick thinking and reflexes.
6. Invisible Zombies: Challenge yourself to defeat zombies you can't see. Use plants from the conveyor belt on the left to identify their locations.
7. Bowling: Utilize the Tree, Palm Tree, and Tomato Bomb to hit zombies behind white lines and create chain reactions.
8. Push Pumpkin: Control a zombie to push pumpkins into targets, requiring careful navigation.
9. Dotman: Guide a Piranha flower through a maze with dots and colorful zombies, eating all the dots to complete the level.
